Virtual Testing Devices freezes

Bitrise Build Issue Report template

Description of the issue

Our Test workflow is freezing when Virtual Testing Devices start. All these builds end up aborted by timeout and I am unable to get a log of what went wrong with the testing procedure.

Environment:

Issue started on May 28. We are using Android Linux default stack.

If on Bitrise.io: which stack? If not on Bitrise.io: on what operating system? (Plus any other information you can share)

Failed in [BETA] Virtual Device Testing for Android latest version (v.1.0.2)

Reproducibility

It happens always for Testing workflow

  • Does a “Rebuild” help? (You can trigger a rebuild from the Build’s page, by clicking the “Rebuild” button in the top right corner of a finished build) : NO
  • Does a rebuild without caches help? (You can remove the Cache:Pull and Cache:Push steps temporarily to not to use the cache, or you can delete all the caches on the Settings tab of the app. : NO
  • Does the issue happen sporadically, or every time? : Happens everytime Testing workflow is triggered
  • Does upgrading the build Step to the latest version help? : NO, step is now in the latests version
  • When did the issue start? : Issue started on May 28

Local reproduction

Can it be reproduced on your own Mac/PC by following our local debug guide? Please follow at least the first section (“Testing with a full clean git clone”) to make sure to test the state of the code what bitrise.io will get when it does a git clone in the clean environment! If possible please note which sections you tried.

Local reproduction: Linux / Android (docker based) stack builds

Thank you!

Could you please change the Test Timeout from 3600 to 3000 in “Virtual Device Testing for Android” step and start a new build?

Because if the UI test needs more time than your max Build time you will not get any log from the test.

Yes sir. Changed 3600 to 3000 timeout and rebuilding.

With 3000s build was aborted, Changed to 2400 = 40mins.

Is on my side. I am having test logs and one is failing. Will fix it and everything must be OK now. This issue can be closed.

Thanks for your support and prompt response.
