Why are Test Devices associated with personal profiles as opposed to Organization?

Hello -

I have a comprehension question. I’ve successfully set up a couple iOS test devices to install builds deployed from Bitrise. These instructions are very similar to what I did:

What I don’t understand is why the “Test Devices” option is only accessible from my personal profile (Bitrise - Mobile Continuous Integration and Delivery - iOS & Android Build Automation) as opposed to my Organization’s profile. The test devices I’m registering don’t belong to me, they belong to my company - and the associated Provisioning Profile isn’t a personal one, rather it’s maintained by my company. So, it would make more sense to me to find Test Devices under the Organization profile.

Sorry about the delay, thanks for submitting your question :slight_smile: Just making sure that you are that each app has a button where you can download your list of registered of devices, on the Team tab.

This list is compiled of each registered test device the different members associated with the app have registered.

What you describe makes a lot of sense, but would also not allow you or anyone else much flexibility when wanting to use the same or even different devices for their personal and company projects at the same time :slight_smile:

Feel free to submit a #feature-request anyhow about registering devices to organizations directly!
