Currently for each new build you have to add the description of your app and images for the app
this is really annoying because they often do not change between builds

Thanks for the feature request! To my knowledge, Ship already uses the images and description from previous builds, you only need to add this again if you are changing the existing description/images.
Could you please provide a bit more information, send some screenshots of what you are experiencing?
