aren’t autolinked in the text of the message, presumably because the step doesn’t instruct Slack to do it.
Could you add an option to enable link_names=1
in the Webhook request?

Just a note: this can be contributed by anyone (#contrib-this-feature) as a pull request to the linked step, but of course if it gets enough votes here we’ll do it.
Implemented and available in the latest Slack version! (https://github.com/bitrise-io/steps-slack-message/issues/13)
