I can’t get onto intercom chat – when I click on “Contact support” all I see is “Something’s wrong, we’re unable to load the messenger”. Is this a known bug/affecting anyone else?
Hi @benrobinson,
Did you try it from another browser or from a private/incognito tab?
I’ve just tried it from an incognito tab and it does seem to work. But when I clear all my local storage/cookies etc in the main chrome profile (Application => clear site data on Chrome devtools, chrome 65) it doesn’t fix it.
This may or may not be relevant, but my JS console has the error message Failed to load https://api-iam.intercom.io/messenger/web/ping: The value of the 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header in the response must not be the wildcard '*' when the request's credentials mode is 'include'. Origin 'https://www.bitrise.io' is therefore not allowed access. The credentials mode of requests initiated by the XMLHttpRequest is controlled by the withCredentials attribute.
We believe this was a temporary Intercom issue, we could not reproduce it since.
Do you still see this happening @benrobinson?
Good afternoon @viktorbenei , we just subscribed to intercom chat on our app. I am also getting this error
Hi @tomiwatech
Can you make sure your browser is up to date and clear it’s cached cookies entirely and try again? We just double-checked but there are no general issues and everything as expected.
So am actually using the chat in a mobile app and not on the web. I created a button the app that opens the chat when clicked. Can this be an issue?
its an ionic app
Oh so you’re talking about an issue with your app not our on-site chat
Can you please contact us about that on our on-site Intercom chat or open a separate #issues:build-issues thread here?
