  • Does the issue happen sporadically, or every time? : So far, every time
  • Does upgrading the build Step to the latest version help? : Haven’t tried but in latest version only description has changed
  • When did the issue start? : First observed 28.01.2020

Local reproduction

_Can it be reproduced on your own Mac/PC by following our local debug guide? Haven’t tried. Ping is needed on bitrise.io, so it does not matter.

Build log

Running apt-get update before trying to install ping fixes this issue.
It looks like it will gone on the nearest weekly stack updates.
