Important update: Build with Xcode 14.1 and the iOS 16.1 SDK for iOS and iPadOS apps

Hi there,

In a recent update, it was communicated that—starting 25th April 2023—all iOS and iPadOS apps submitted to the App Store must be built with Xcode 14.1 and the iOS 16.1 SDK.

This means that you’ll need to update your development environment to comply with the new requirements, and switch to a newer version of Xcode and the iOS SDK as soon as possible.

So, how can you update to Xcode 14.1 and the iOS 16.1 SDK?

  • Switch to Xcode 14.1 by going to Edit Workflow → Stacks & Machines → and selecting your default stack.
