What’s new
The Desktop App now recognizes every build status Bitrise reports, including builds waiting for concurrency, and notifications now cover aborted builds.
The problem
During a concurrency backlog, builds waiting their turn were dropped from the app entirely. The popover could read “0 builds” for hours while bitrise.io showed those same builds running and passing. Notifications also stayed silent on aborts, and sometimes pinged you about builds a newer push had already replaced.
The solution
The app now handles every status end to end: on hold, starting, running, passed, failed, aborted, and aborted with success.
Notifications are smarter too. “Failures only” now includes aborts, “All completions” covers every finished build, and builds that Rolling Builds aborted because you pushed again never notify.
How to use it
Nothing to set up. On automatic updates (v1.1.0+), you already have it. Pick your notification level in Settings → Notifications. Heads-up: you may see more notifications than before, since “failures only” now includes aborts and “all completions” includes every finished build.
