Is there a way to customize the actions assigned to the users. For example, I need Testers/QA to be able to run builds, which is revoked currently according to the role cheat-sheet.

There’s no option right now to customize the roles. But if you want your testers to be able to run builds then you can add them as Developers, there’s no reason why a tester can’t be added with Developer role on bitrise.io , these are just role “titles”.
