Android build stuck on "waiting for worker"

Hi, we just started trying bitrise and we’re having troubles getting our first build done. We created a blank android project (just an empty activity inside) and created the app on bitrise. problem is we’re facing the exact same issue as this question. We only have one selectable stack for android builds and it seems there’s nothing suggesting that it is invalid, deprecated or anything.

Can someone suggest a solution or point us in the right direction?

After re-checking everything from scratch it seems that the problem was releted to hash keys not setted up properly (ours was missing from gitlab, where our project resides). It is solved now but I’m surprised bitrise doesn’t output an error for this.
