Highlights
Hybrid stack, with both Android tools and Xcode 8 is now available.
At the moment it’s based on our former Xamarin Stable stack but we’re going to rebuild it soon without Xamarin Studio. In the following weeks we’re planning to release another stack with both Android tools and Xcode 9. It’s a perfect match for cross platform projects using Ionic, Cordova, etc.
Android/Linux stacks
- SDK Tools updated to 26.1.1 - thanks @koral!
Xcode stacks
- Xcode 8.1.x, 8.0.x, 6.4 stacks: applications using these stacks will be auto-migrated to newer stacks next Monday (2017.10.02): Stack deprecations: Xcode 6.4, 8.0, 8.1 and Xamarin Studio with Xcode 7.3.1
Visual Studio for Mac stacks
- Visual Studio for Mac Beta: after the mid-week rollback, we’re rolling out this stack again with Xcode 9 because now it properly supports iOS 11 (https://releases.xamarin.com/beta-release-15-4-preview-3/)
