Insights build and test metrics are now available over MCP. Connect the Bitrise MCP server to your AI client (Claude, Cursor, Codex, or your own agent) and ask about your CI data in plain language, no scripts, no dashboards.

:puzzle_piece: Why

The most-requested thing customers wanted to do with their Insights data was hand it to an agent. The API made that possible programmatically; MCP makes it conversational. Your agent pulls the numbers and reasons over them, so you can ask a question and get an answer instead of building a query.

What you can do

Five read-only tools, the same data as the Insights dashboard and API:

  • insights_get_build_series — build metrics over time
  • insights_get_build_totals — build aggregates
  • insights_get_test_series — test metrics over time
  • insights_get_test_totals — test aggregates
  • insights_list_flaky_tests — the flaky-test list for a project

Every tool is read-only. The agent can query and analyse your metrics; it can’t change anything in Bitrise.

  • “How has our build success rate on main trended over the last 30 days?”
  • “How many builds did we run last month, and where are our biggest build-time bottlenecks?”
  • “Which tests are the flakiest on main this month, and are they getting better or worse?”
  • “What’s our test count and failure rate this week?”
  • “Summarise our CI health this sprint, builds, durations and flaky tests, in three bullets.”
