How to get Pipeline Build Number

Is there a way to get / set the pipeline build number ?
If no, it would be great to add it :pray:

EDIT: Fixed → Pipeline build number as `BITRISE_BUILD_NUMBER`

Currently we do not expose this but its a great idea thanks for the suggestion.

Is there an ETA on when this might be added?

At the moment we do not have an ETA, but discussions around this are actively taking place.
