Today we’re rolling out Enhanced Invocation Details for Bitrise Build Cache.
This builds on our Invocation Diffing feature, which let you compare two runs side by side. With this update, you can now view detailed data for any single command invocation, helping you debug faster, spot anomalies more easily, and share insights across your team.
What’s New? (A Lot, Actually)
Open any command invocation and you’ll now find the same deep-dive data that previously only appeared in our Invocation Diffing feature.
Here’s what you’ll find on every Invocation Detail page:
Environment Breakdown
- Infrastructure: OS version, CPU cores, RAM, tool versions, locale, and more. If it could possibly affect your build, it’s here.
- Environment Variables: See exactly what was set when your command ran. No more “it worked on my machine” mysteries.
- Java runtime details: in case of Gradle you can see the details of the Java runtime the Gradle command was running with.
Build Tool Specifics
- Bazel Tab:
- Explicit command line
- Effective command line
- Bazel options
- Gradle Tab:
- Android Compile, Target, and Min SDK versions
- Android NDK version
- Gradle properties
Extra Goodies
- Quick Stats: Instantly compare this invocation’s duration, cache hit rate, upload, and download sizes to the 30-day averages.
- Shareable Links: Need a second opinion? Just share the page URL with a teammate, no screenshots required.
- Jump to Insights: One click takes you straight to relevant Bitrise Insights dashboards for even deeper analysis.
- Easy Compare: If you do want to compare two invocations, hit the “Compare” button in the top right.
