Pleased to share some user-friendly updates to Bitrise’s manual build trigger interface, designed to make your experience smoother and more intuitive.
What’s new?
- Required fields first: We’ve moved all required fields to the top of the list so that you won’t miss any crucial steps. This change ensures you won’t encounter a disabled “Start build” button without knowing why.
- Simplified source selection: In the “Advanced” tab, branch, commit, and tag options are now combined into one field. This clarifies that you only need to provide one source, reducing confusion and preventing errors.
Additional tweaks
- Clearer terminology: We’ve updated “Workflows / Pipelines” to “Target” for better clarity and consistency, matching our new Git status reports and upcoming features.
- Less clutter: We’ve removed unnecessary texts like “Build configuration” to simplify the interface and make your experience more focused.
These changes are here to help you navigate the manual build trigger with ease, avoiding any hiccups along the way. Enjoy a more streamlined and error-free
