# Self-hosted GitLab server on a developer/free bitrise account

Hello. Can I add a self-hosted GitLab server to a developer/free bitrise account, or does the account have to be a business/paid account?

Hello!

“Only Organizations can use privately hosted GitLab instances on Bitrise. If you are not on an Organization plan, you should not follow this guide.”
