The issue is fixed in the new version now(1.1.1). And also in the Gradle Runner step version(1.7.1) a new input is added, so you can chose which type of cache you need:
The new version (1.1.1 ) of the step got a small improvement about filtering duplicated paths to cache. This way if there is a configuration by hand, and from the built-in cache then it won’t cache those paths multiple times.
Added a new input: cache_level in the new version (1.7.1 ) of the step.
Available options:
all(default) - will cache build-cache and dependencies
only deps - will cache dependencies only
none - won’t cache any of the above
