Bitrise init set up walking me through "Select: Variant for testing" infinitely many times

I have an Android project with multiple modules and multiple build variants. I attempted to run bitrise init on my local project and the setup walkthrough seems to be looping on the Select: Variant for testing Please select from the list: step. I wonder what it could be about my project structure that’s causing this.

Could you perhaps include the full terminal output of the session where you’re experiencing this issue?
