# Add path to yml to /PUT /apps/{app-slug}/bitrise.yml/config

## Add path to yml to /PUT /apps/{app-slug}/bitrise.yml/config

Like the GUI update released in Nov 2024 ( [Tidy up your repo: Customize your bitrise.yml path!](https://discuss.bitrise.io/t/tidy-up-your-repo-customize-your-bitrise-yml-path/24688) ), I’d like to update the path to the yml through the API instead.

We have a monorepo with a whitelabel application in it so we have over a hundred apps getting built in bitrise. Going through the GUI is not really a manageable option for us.
