Highlights

  • SIP (System Integration Protection) is now disabled on all new stacks
  • Xamarin stacks rebuilt on top of the Xcode 8.3 stack
  • Xcode 8.3.x stack was updated to Xcode 8.3.1

I’m not seeing the new Xamarin stack with Xcode 8.3

I guess we forgot to update the title of the stack, but the previous non LTS Xamarin stacks are now Xcode 8.3, there’s no Xcode 8.2 Xamarin stack anymore (we replaced those with the updated ones).

Xamarin stack titles changed, it now only shows the major version number for Xcode (in this case “Xcode 8”), as the Xamarin stacks are always built on top of the latest stable Xcode (this week it’s Xcode 8.3, but we’ll update that to 8.3.1 as part of the weekend updates), and the exact version numbers can be found in the system reports.
