Is there an official SLA for the deployment of new version of Xcode when they come out?

Do you provide images with beta version of Xcode/Xamarin studio?

Yes we do - for Xamarin we provide 3 stacks, for the 3 Xamarin channels (stable, beta, alpha), and we update those every weekend to the latest versions. There’s one LTS (long term support) stack for Xamarin too, which is not updated - useful if you need a really stable environment.

How are the bitrise.io stacks updated and with what frequency? What's the stack deprecation / removal policy?

The stacks on bitrise.io are updated every weekend, but what’s updated depends on the stack. There are stacks where only certain caches are updated (no preinstalled tools etc.), and there are stacks which are completely re-built every week. You can find the update type of the stacks below. Xcode stacks Xcode stacks, except the “Edge” one, are built once, and are not updated at all, except with Bitrise CLI related updates, dependency manager cache updates and with critical fixes. Note for Xcode betas: we only provide the latest beta, when a new beta comes out we replace the the previous beta stack with the new one. So, for example, right now we have Xcode 8.3 beta 3 available, but beta 2 and earlier are not available, and once beta 4 is released (or the final, stable Xcode 8.3) we’ll no longer provide beta 3.
